The venue for the 2024 Presidential Debate, Strahan Arena at the University Events Center is a versatile space that hosts a number of significant TXST events. TXST’s three annual commencement ceremonies see more than 8,500 undergraduates and graduates earn their degrees. Championship-level athletic competitions are played on Strahan Arena’s court. And the center is home to the LBJ Distinguished Lecture Series, State of Texas State Address, and other celebrations.
